As Christians, it is important to have a close fellowship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit brings to you the presence of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is our comforter, and He will be with you forever

 

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever–”

John 14:16AMPC

 

To know the Holy Spirit, you must first recognise and acknowledge Him.

The Holy Spirit should be the Lord of your life. When He gives you instructions, He wants you to obey them. You cannot know Jesus more, if you do not give attention to the Holy Spirit. The Holy is the most important person on earth.

 

The true counsellor is the Holy Spirit. He will counsel you through the Word of God.

The Holy Spirit is your helper. You can ask Him anything you want. He will not leave you helpless. The Holy Spirit is our intercessor. He prays through us. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. His counsel is true. He cannot lie to you.

Recognize Him!

Acknowledge Him!

Reverence Him!

 

You are not supposed to carry the Holy Spirit to a place that isn’t pleasing. Your body is just a house. The real person is your spirit. Your personality is defined by your spirit, not how your body looks like. The Holy Spirit is a person and He has emotions. Do not grieve Him.

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Ephesians 4:30 (KJV)

 

You can grieve the Holy Spirit by not listening to and obeying Him.

Train yourself to listen to the Holy Spirit in the little things.

The Holy Spirit makes Christianity sweet and active.

Christians are to be led by the Spirit of God.
